Scrum Master

Scrum Master job is available in Malaysia and Pakistan for a leading global IT company. An Ideal candidate should have a Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT along with 8 to 9 years of relevant experience in Agile project management, Scrum framework implementation, and leading cross-functional software development teams.

Scrum Master job role is to guide the team in Agile practices, removing impediments, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring that the team is productive and focused on meeting sprint goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Assist the team in defining sprint goals, estimating work, and selecting user stories from the backlog to commit to in the sprint.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure that the backlog is well-groomed and prioritized for the team’s upcoming sprints.
• Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Identify, address, and resolve any conflicts or impediments that might hinder the team’s progress.
• Utilize JIRA, Trello, or similar tools to track progress, manage tasks, and generate reports on team performance.
• Oversee projects involving AI, ensuring that Agile methodologies are adapted to the specific needs of AI development.
• Apply knowledge of generative AI to guide the team in projects where AI plays a critical role.
• Provide mentorship to team members, ensuring they understand Agile practices and are continually improving in their roles.
