Page Maker job is available in Karachi for a leading Media/Publishing Group. An ideal candidate must have a minimum Intermediate qualification. A diploma or certification in Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing, or a related field will be an added advantage, along with experience in newspaper, magazine, or publishing

Page Maker job role is to design and prepare newspaper pages by arranging editorial content, headlines, images, and advertisements using InPage, Adobe InDesign, or QuarkXPress. The incumbent will coordinate with editorial and advertising teams, ensure accuracy and consistency, prepare print-ready pages, and deliver high-quality layouts within strict production deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create clean and visually appealing newspaper page layouts using InPage, Adobe InDesign, or QuarkXPress.
• Arrange and format news stories, headlines, photographs, captions, advertisements, and other page elements.
• Compose or edit headlines when required in coordination with the Editorial team.
• Ensure proper formatting, spacing, alignment, and visual balance of each page.
• Coordinate with editors, reporters, and the advertising team to finalize page layouts.
• Prepare print-ready pages in accordance with production deadlines.
• Review pages carefully to ensure accuracy before publication.
• Maintain consistency with editorial and design standards.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting strict daily deadlines.

Skills:

• Proficiency in InPage, Adobe InDesign, or QuarkXPress.
• Strong understanding of newspaper page layout and formatting.
• Excellent attention to detail in formatting, spacing, alignment, and typography.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays when required.
