An ideal candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Urdu, Mass Communication, or related field along with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Urdu composing using InPage, editorial workflows, and print layout preparation within a media or newsroom environment.
Composer job role is to type, format, and proofread Urdu content using InPage, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation of editorial material for print and publication.
Job Responsibilities:
- Type and format Urdu content using InPage with speed and accuracy.
- Convert handwritten or editorial content into digital format.
- Proofread and ensure correctness of typed material.
- Create headlines and assist with layout and page-making for print.
- Manage and organize multiple file versions efficiently.
- Coordinate with editorial and design teams for timely content preparation.
- Adapt to rotational shifts, including evening and night shifts as required.
Skills:
- Proven proficiency in InPage Urdu typing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Understanding of editorial workflows and publication standards.
- Familiarity with page-making and print layout processes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
