Account Officer

Account Officer job is available in Karachi for a leading group of companies. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or finance, and hold a professional certification such as C.A., ACCA, or CIMA along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Account Officer job role is managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collections.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record and categorize financial transactions, including rental income, expenses, and payments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Stay informed about and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulations.
• Implement and adhere to local tax regulations, including VAT requirements.
• Monitor and manage the financial aspects of the Dubai vehicle fleet, covering acquisition, maintenance (during issuance or receipt from contract), and disposal costs.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Audit financial transactions and documents.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
