An ideal candidate should have an MBA (Finance), M.Com, ACCA Finalist, or equivalent qualification with 3+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience. Strong MS Excel, ERP, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills are preferred.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounts Officer<\/strong> job role is to manage financial accounts, journal vouchers, advertisement and circulation revenue, reconciliations, audit coordination, newsprint costing, and inter-unit accounting while ensuring accurate records and compliance with company policies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare monthly financial accounts and draft annual financial statements\/accounts in the prescribed FRP format.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Journal Vouchers (JVs) and accurately record circulation and advertisement revenue.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Journal Vouchers and record printing and production-related bills.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain lease payment schedules and provide relevant information to management.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and facilitate the timely resolution of audit observations and issues relating to the Karachi Unit.<\/li>\n<li>Perform inter-unit, intra-unit, and related-party account reconciliations and resolve outstanding differences.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate and maintain newsprint costing based on local purchases and imported materials.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and issue debit notes to other units for newsprint consumption based on their respective print orders.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the distribution and transfer of newsprint\/materials to other units based on authorized material issuance from the concerned department.<\/li>\n<li>Record and reconcile advertisement revenue share\/distribution among inter\/intra units.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation for all transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that accounting entries and supporting documents comply with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Assist management with financial analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and other accounting-related matters as required.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties related to accounts and finance as assigned by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MBA (Finance), M.Com, ACCA Finalist, or equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, journal vouchers, revenue accounting, audit coordination, and inventory\/material costing will be preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting\/ERP systems.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with internal departments and external auditors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial Accounting &amp; Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Journal Voucher Preparation<\/li>\n<li>Account Reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Revenue &amp; Cost Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Audit Coordination<\/li>\n<li>Inventory\/Material Costing<\/li>\n<li>Inter-Unit &amp; Related-Party Accounting<\/li>\n<li>MS Excel &amp; ERP\/Accounting Software<\/li>\n<li>Attention to Detail<\/li>\n<li>Analytical &amp; Problem-Solving Skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apply at<strong> junaid@hasnain.biz<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly mention the job title <strong>Accounts Officer<\/strong>\u00a0 in the email<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1029,"featured_media":7157,"template":"","meta":{"_job_location":"Karachi","_application":"junaid@hasnain.biz","_company_name":"Hasnain Tanweer Associates","_company_website":"https:\/\/hasnain.net\/","_company_tagline":"Inspire.
