Sales Manager job role is to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, expand the company’s customer base, and drive revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to meet sales targets and increase the customer base.
- Forecast and set annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Maintain sales volume and selling price by staying informed on supply and demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs and competitive pricing.
- Increase business opportunities through various routes to market.
- Monitor and manage operations according to principal requirements.
- Negotiate rates and terms with all carriers.
- Retain existing customers and build strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Achieve assigned KPIs and sales targets.
- Provide weekly sales activity reports.
