Assistant Manager Costing and Budgeting

Assistant Manager Costing and Budgeting job is available in Karachi for a publicly listed manufacturing company. An ideal candidate must be ICMA qualified with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in costing and budgeting.

Assistant Manager Costing and Budgeting job role is to conduct comprehensive cost analysis to enhance the understanding of production costs, identify areas for cost optimization, and support decision-making processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute costing runs and resolve all variance/errors.
• Coordinate with the planning department for batch closing and ensuring batches are reconciled and closed properly.
• Collect cost information and maintain an expense database.
• Coordinate during physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Maintain raw material purchases record including landed cost of material.
• Prepare and reconcile closing inventory with accounts to avoid inaccuracies in inventory value.
• Prepare product wise and plant wise costs breakups.
• Carry out any other duty and when assigned by line manager.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficient in financial modeling and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
