HSE Resources job is available in Islamabad for a leading Telecom Company. An ideal candidate must have Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably construction sites, industrial facilities, or MEP-heavy projects. Valid HSE certification is a must.
HSE Resources job role is to ensure workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and risk prevention across all project activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor compliance with local HSE legislation, company’s standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain updated records of permits, inspections, safety audits, and compliance checklists.
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety, hot-work, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), confined space, and work-at-height regulations.
- Verify contractor compliance with method statements, risk assessments, and HSE plans.
- Maintain close and effective coordination with site’s execution teams to stay updated about the upcoming activities / operations at site.
- Conduct daily/weekly site visits, identifying hazards and non-conformances.
- Perform periodic HSE audits of subcontractors and report the findings.
- Monitor high-risk activities (work at height, hot work, energy isolation / electrical safety, rigging / lifting activities, traffic management, mobile equipment / machinery operations, UPS installation, battery rooms, HVAC, mechanical lifts, and white-space fit-outs).
- Assist in developing and reviewing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Job Risk Assessments (JRA).
- Implement hazard control measures and ensure corrective actions are completed within the allocated timeline depending on the respective criticalities.
- Report incidents / near-misses and participate in their investigations and root-cause analysis and corrective actions plans.
- Ensure implementation of emergency response plans, fire safety protocols, and evacuation procedures.
- Coordinate emergency drills, including fire, medical and evacuation.
- Monitor energy isolation, equipment commissioning safety, and hazardous materials handling.
- Ensure toolbox talks, inductions, and refresher safety training is conducted by all contractors / subcontractors for their respective workforce.
- Promote a positive safety culture aligned with best practices.
- Support management in enforcing disciplinary actions for repeated non-compliances.
