Safety Supervisor job is available in Karachi for a leading Manufacturing Company. An ideal candidate must have Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering along with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in industrial safety, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment. NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.

Safety Supervisor job role is to ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, supervising the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and promoting a culture of health and safety within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise the contractual workforce to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance for their assigned tasks.
Conduct thorough risk assessments for various jobs and processes to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
Conduct detailed investigations of incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Regularly inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition and meet regulatory standards.
Carry out safety audits and inspections of work areas to identify non-compliance and areas for improvement.
Develop and deliver safety training programs for the workforce to enhance their awareness and understanding of safety procedures and practices.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Prepare and submit regular reports on safety performance, compliance, and incidents to the HSE Manager.
Coordinate and participate in emergency response drills and activities to ensure preparedness for potential emergencies.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices by actively seeking feedback and implementing best practices.
