Deputy Manager HSE

Deputy Manager HSE job is available in Karachi for a leading Manufacturing Company. The ideal candidate must hold a BE or MSc degree in Environmental Sciences. Preferred certifications include NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015. The candidate should have 6 to 7 years of relevant HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining HSE systems and programs across multiple sites.

Deputy Manager HSE job role is to lead, implement, and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental systems across all operations, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, legal regulations, and international HSE best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• To lead HSE teams at all plants to ensure the implementation of HSE standards.
• To ensure, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.
• To develop, monitor and improve/update HSE Management plans, policies and procedures in consultation with the concerned departments/committee for implementation of the HSE standard.
• To carry out regular HSE risk analysis based on Hazard identification and Risk assessment program and analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends to suggest the improvement plans.
• To monitor the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures to provide the updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
• To provide motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel for the respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety equipment provided and carry out any in-house safety training.
• To contribute in highlighting safety related engineering input into new projects and modification programs for safety standard.
• To provide Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.
• To prepare HSE operations budget for the company to develop and maintain business continuity plans, Emergency Response Procedures for different operations & conduct drill.
