Manager Finance

Manager Finance job is available in Karachi for a leading publicly listed manufacturing Company. An ideal candidate must have a Master’s degree in Finance along with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and ERP implementation, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

Manager Finance job role is to oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage budgeting and financial analysis, coordinate audits, and support strategic decision-making to enhance the company’s financial performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely preparation of financial reports in line with generally accepted accounting principles and statutory disclosure requirements.
• Review quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and the Companies Ordinance, 1984.
• Analyze monthly financial statements, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Coordinate with internal auditors for functional audits, ensure timely rectification of audit observations, and implement corrective measures.
• Facilitate statutory audits and half-yearly reviews, ensuring adherence to approved timelines.
• Monitor invoicing, receipts, debtor control, and related financial matters to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Exercise budgetary controls, prepare variance analysis, and report to the Management Committee on discrepancies with justifications.
• Oversee the preparation of costing and inventory valuation statements, margin statements, and price lists.
• Review the Fixed Assets Register, monitor work-in-progress and capital job status, and oversee closure or disposal of jobs.
• Approve and monitor timely payments for supplies, services, and statutory dues, including income tax and sales tax.
• Collaborate with software developers and consultants to ensure timely implementation of Oracle/ERP software solutions.
• Review monthly management reports and variance analyses prepared by the management accounts team.
• Act as an authorized signatory of the company for financial transactions and documentation.
• Assist the Chief Financial Officer and senior management in any additional duties as required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
