Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer job is available in Karachi for a leading listed manufacturing company. An ideal candidate should have Mechanical Engineering degree and maximum 2 years of experience, Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.

Mechanical Engineer job role is to manage shift operations, ensure production targets are met, and maintain plant health and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage shift staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) best practices.
• Oversee daily production plans, prioritizing tasks to meet production and quality targets efficiently. Make data-driven adjustments to the plan when necessary, ensuring justifications are documented.
• Monitor plant health and product quality, raise complains in ERP and record them, collaborating with other departments for timely resolutions while minimizing downtime.
• Ensure adherence to budgeted consumption and production targets set by superiors. Additionally, strive to minimize operational costs.
• Train and develop shift staff, ensuring they understand plant operations, company goals, policies, and guidelines.
• Implement 5S and TPM principles to enhance efficiency, safety, employee morale, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Organize training for staff and supervisors on these methodologies.
