EHS Medical Health Assistant

EHS Medical Health Assistant job is available in Lahore for a leading Manufacturing Company. An ideal candidate must have Bachelor’s degree or DAE Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology along with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in emergency first aid handling and fitness to work management.

EHS Medical Health Assistant job role is to providing medical services to employees, maintaining a well-equipped health center, and promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide OPD medical services and handling medical emergencies for employees during working hours along with fully equipped occupational health services.
• Oversee the continuous development of the on-site medical health center to handle regular OPD cases and basic emergencies.
• Conduct pre-employment health screening of all third-party employees.
• Conduct occupational health surveillance as per devised procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of pre-employment health screenings, OPD cases, emergencies, and occupational health activities.
• Organize and deliver health awareness programs and training workshops for employees.
• Educate employees about occupational health hazards and provide guidance on handling risks.
• Design health presentations to improve employee well-being.
• Develop health campaigns promoting exercise and healthy eating habits.
• Assess and authorize referrals to hospitals for injured personnel.
• Recommend rest for employees unfit for specific work activities.
• Ensure first-aid procedures and information are readily available in work areas.
• Manage first-aid kits through regular inventory checks, obtaining necessary supplies, and maintaining adequate stock.
• Recommend additional medical supplies for the dispensary, such as oxygen cylinders, ice packs, and protective masks.
• Stay updated on first-aid practices by attending training sessions from doctors and the EHS team.
• Complete incident reports for all work-related injuries and document all first-aid treatments provided.
• Prepare quarterly reports on the number of incidents and usage of first-aid supplies within your area of responsibility.
