EHS Marshal

EHS Marshal job is available in Lahore for a leading Manufacturing Company. An ideal candidate must have Bachelor’s degree or DAE Diploma in Associate Engineering along with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in construction safety procedures. NEBOSH certification is a must.

EHS Marshal job role is to implement and monitor safety programs, conduct inspections, and ensuring a safe work environment for all employees and contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and track the Permit to Work (PTW) system for all non-routine jobs.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of firefighting systems to ensure readiness.
• Plant monthly inspections and report preparation for compliance monitoring.
• Lead EHS meetings with floor teams and conduct EHS coaching programs to raise safety awareness.
• Identify hazards, analyze them, and prepare reports for compliance monitoring.
• Develop a strong EHS culture through the implementation of the HOCs system and by monitoring employee progress.
• Review machine guarding assessments and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor machine operation and ensure all safety guards are in place and functioning properly.
• Incident Investigations and root cause analysis of events to minimize the losses.
• Conduct safety orientation for new employees and training programs for existing employees to promote EHS awareness.
• Enforce safe work practices through observation and intervention, with a focus on identifying and changing at-risk behaviors.
• Manage routine daily tasks, review shift logs, and take appropriate actions.
• Conduct risk assessments for critical jobs and provide briefings to employees.
• Identify and control unsafe conditions and practices on company premises.
• Stopping the activities having high risk observed during CFL operations.
• Liaise with construction contractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor construction activities for potential hazards associated with working at heights, electrical work, confined space entry, and other high-risk tasks.
• Inspection of Construction related equipment, Scaffoldings, Cranes etc.
• Ensure proper waste management procedures are followed to minimize environmental impact.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
