Chiller Operator

Chiller Operator job is available in Karachi for a leading Manufacturing Company. An ideal candidate must have B.Tech degree or DAE Diploma in Associate Engineering along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in operating and maintaining chillers.

Chiller Operator job role is to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of chillers, cooling towers, and associated equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining chillers and cooling tower equipment to ensure that they are working properly.
• Inspect mechanical equipment within facilities to identify and address potential issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on chillers and cooling towers, including tube cleaning, repairing pumps, compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
• Maintain accurate daily log sheets and equipment records.
• Utilize the BMS to determine appropriate chiller size based on building size and cooling needs.
• Repairing small mechanical breakdowns such as leaks or clogs in pipes.
• Monitor chiller and cooling tower operation to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Identify the need for repairs and coordinate with contractors for service.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness with knowledge of LOTO procedures, work permits, and general safety practices.

Skills:

• Possess basic proficiency in MS Office and SAP software.
• Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and external contractors.
