Sr. A/C Technician

Sr. A/C Technician job is available in Karachi for a leading Manufacturer Company. An ideal candidate must have B.Tech degree or DAE Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of industrial and commercial air conditioning systems.

Sr. A/C Technician job role is to diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of air conditioning units.

Job Responsibilities:

• Address customer complaints regarding the repair and maintenance requirements for their air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose AC issues, troubleshoot solutions, and choose the right tools for the job.
• Install air conditioners in offices by following standard installation protocols.
• Test and ensure the proper functioning of newly installed AC systems.
• Repair air conditioning units by performing analysis and troubleshooting activities.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters and grills.
• Educate customers on basic AC maintenance practices to optimize performance and lifespan.
• Replace AC systems that are not in a fixable condition.
• Provide customers with clear instructions on operating their AC units for maximum benefit.
• Document all service activities in a daily log for accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to perform scheduled maintenance tasks (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).
• AC filter/Outdoor cleaning, service and replace filter as per condition.
• Gas charging and system vacuum, leak repair as per requirement and standard practice.
• Report any abnormalities observed during AC operation to ensure the safety and well-being of customers and yourself.
• To keeps AC workshop and customer area neat & clean after any maintenance or AC replacement.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S and EHS safety protocols.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment commonly used in AC maintenance and repair.
