Procurement Manager (Wireless Network) job role is to oversees the responsible disposal of outdated wireless network equipment through auctions, ensuring regulatory compliance and maximizing return on investment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Spend significant time in the field to oversee (as observer) the ongoing Assets Disposal activities related to wireless network infrastructure.
- Report observations/findings to the line management, for corrective action.
- Prepare auction plans and monitor auction timelines for wireless network disposal projects.
- Develop control documents (auction notices, Terms of Reference, Invitation to Bid) in alignment with approved processes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for wireless network disposal, securing relevant data and developing disposal strategies.
- Manage records and databases related to auctions and wireless network disposals.
- Provide logistical support to the auction team for conducting auctions.
- Collect asset sunset details from stakeholders and maintain categorized records.
