Procurement Manager (Fixed Network) job is available in major cities of Pakistan (Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore) for a leading Telecommunication company. An ideal candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication or Electrical engineering along with 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in project management and asset disposal, preferably in the telecom sector, having rich experience in copper network deployment/rehabilitation.
Procurement Manager (Fixed Network) job role is to overseeing the disposal activities related to the fixed copper network infrastructure within the telecommunications sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Spend significant time in the field to oversee (as observer) the ongoing Assets Disposal activities related to copper network infrastructure.
- Report observations/findings to the line management, for corrective action.
- Making survey (where required by the line management) and submit way forward recommendation to line management related to upcoming disposal of underground copper network.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for the copper sunset program, securing relevant data and assist SM in developing assets auction and disposal strategies.
- Manage records and databases related to fixed network auctions and disposal activities.
- Provide logistical support to the auction team for conducting auctions.
- Collect asset sunset details from stakeholders and maintain categorized records.
