Assistant Manager Quality Assurance job is available in Rawalpindi, Islamabad & Lahore for a leading telecommunication company in Pakistan. An ideal candidate must have Master’s degree in telecom engineering along with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing of quality management systems, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Assistant Manager Quality Assurance job role is to conduct inspection of ongoing development works in the field of Access Network (Copper & Fiber) to ensure their implementation as per company standards and also responsible to conduct inspection of ongoing development works in the field of Access Network (Copper & Fiber).
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in scheduling, implementing, reporting, and following up on Provisional Acceptance Testing (PAT) of Access Network (Copper) offered by the Development wing.
- Analyze and provide suggestions to the concerned sections, particularly regarding customer complaints, to improve fault rectification time and prevent the re-occurrence of faults, thereby reducing Churn.
- Assist in planning, implementing, reporting, and following up on technical audits/evaluations of all Network Elements (NEs) within the network, aimed at assessing the Quality of Service (QoS) of each NE.
- Conduct inspections of ongoing development works in the field of Access Network (Copper & Fiber) to ensure compliance with standards.
- Assist and ensuring that any additions to existing network elements or entirely new systems are tested in accordance with approved PAT documents and prescribed procedures.
- Prepare checklists and work towards continual improvement for use in technical audits through preventive maintenance and routine inspection of different NEs within the network.
- Conduct Technical Evaluation of Outside Plant (OSP) for the Access Network Copper, including electrical testing of underground cables and physical surveys of OSP components such as Main Distribution Frames (MDF), manholes, cabinets, Distribution Points (DPs), and loops.
- Perform joint surveys of Cabinets renovation programs carried out by the Development wing in the concerned region. Vet estimates, monitor ongoing work, verify completed work, and analyze pre/post renovation parameters to improve the Quality of Service (QOS) of the OSP Network.
- Prepare reports on weekly/monthly activities carried out by all zones of Quality Assurance (QA). Generate reports and follow up on improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the Quality of Service (QOS) of the OSP.
