Tax Specialist

Tax Specialist job is available in Karachi for a leading group of companies. The ideal candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and professional certification such as C.A., ACCA, or CIMA along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns. Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations in Pakistan and Dubai.

Tax Specialist job role is to ensure tax compliance, and spearhead all tax-related matters for individuals and businesses in Pakistan and Dubai.

Job Description:

• Oversee and ensure adherence to all tax regulations and requirements in Pakistan and Dubai
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during tax audits.
• Develop Strategic Tax Planning
• Provide Audit Support
• Monitor Policies and Regulations
• Preparing and filing federal, state, or international tax returns.
• Reviewing financial statements to identify potential areas of noncompliance with tax laws.
• Identify and assess potential tax risks associated with international business activities.
• Liaising with internal departments and foreign advisors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business units to address tax-related matters.
• Preparing tax forms and filing them with the appropriate taxing authorities.

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office.
