Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant job is available in Karachi for a leading group of companies. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with professional certification such as C.A., ACCA, or CIMA, along with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounting operations. This includes reconciling account balances, analyzing financial reports and forecasts, and maintaining accurate financial records, specifically for import and trading transactions. The candidate should possess the ability to record and categorize financial transactions in various foreign currencies.

Senior Accountant job role is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company’s financial records related to international transactions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize financial transactions in various foreign currencies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of import documentation.
• Analyze costs related to international transactions, including shipping and customs duties.
• Allocate costs to specific products, deals, or cost centers.
• Generate financial reports in multiple currencies, such as income statements and balance sheets.
• Prepare reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for import and trading transactions.
• Ensure accurate and compliant import documentation.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including withholding taxes.
• Allocating costs to specific products, deals, or cost centers.
• Tracking and analyzing costs associated with international transactions, including shipping, customs duties, and related expenses.
• Preparing reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities as required.
