Regional Sales Manager job is available in Multan for a leading FMCG company. An ideal candidate must have MBA/BBA degree along with 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in leading and managing sales team, a proven track record in FMCG sales, and a deep understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and customer behavior.

Regional Sales Manager job role is to drive sales strategies, achieve revenue targets, and ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Quarterly/Monthly SKU, Brand leading to Category wise efficient sales forecasting should be done.
Discuss daily and unique productivity on alternate days with the team.
Market gaps & dynamics, production plan and capacities and seasonal impacts should be kept in mind.
Set Specific, Measurable, Ambitious, Realistic and Timebound (SMART) targets and objectives.
Plan Primary Sales plan with Distributor in such a way that last week primary is not more than 30%.
Hold evening meetings with DSRs and review their day’s performance.
Discuss daily and unique productivity on alternate days with the team.
Daily market visit should be carried out involving 1 or 2 sections/routes/DSR and gaps.
During market visits category availability should be checked followed by brand/SKU availability.
Ensure to keep a close eye on competition moves, new launches and schemes.
Provide On the job training of Order Booker/TSM/ASM/ZSM and groom them on Time Management, Sales Call Process, Negotiations & Complaint handling skills.
Ensure Sales Team expenses are prepared, checked, signed & dispatched by the deadline.
Ensure stock movement in and out of distribution warehouse is happening through FIFO principle.
Personally, meet and maintain database of good potential talent in the market to manage DSR turnover or cases where replacement is required.
