Surveyor/GIS Technician

Surveyor/GIS Technician job(s) are available in all major cities of Pakistan (Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Taxila, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Mardan, Peshawar, Karachi, Attock) for a leading telecommunication company. Candidate must be having a Diploma in Civil/Survey, FA, FSC, ICS along with 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in Design templates, Survey reports and ODN Design.

Surveyor/GIS Technician job role is to conduct physical surveys in the field to design FTTH networks, preparing base maps, and ensuring that essential information is incorporated.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting physical survey in field to design FTTH network.
• Preparation of base map and ODN design in Arc GIS software.
• Ensure that all required information is collected during survey and incorporated in basemap.
• Prepare survey reports and keep records.
• Technical knowledge of GPON and industry standards for OSP implementation.
• Detail knowledge and hands on experience of design software including ArcGIS, Autocad, and google earth
• External Communication: Design templates
• Internal Communication: Survey reports, ODN Design

Skills:

• Hands on experience of Arc GIS Software
• Good surveyor
• MS Word and MS Excel
• Detail knowledge and hands on experience of FTTH network design and deployment
• Understanding challenges to the telecom industry, specific to FTTH domain
• Knowledge of the new advancements and technological changes in the telecom sector
• Team player
