Safety Executive job is available in Karachi (Port Qasim) for a leading multinational manufacturing company. An ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Site/Project Safety. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory standards and company objectives.
Safety Executive job role is to implement safety policies, conduct risk assessments, provide training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory standards and company objectives.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to ensure safety protocols are integrated into daily operations and projects.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of protective equipment.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and corrective actions.
- Monitor and track safety performance metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvement initiatives.
- Conduct safety audits and assessments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and industry organizations to stay informed about safety regulations and best practices.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices in manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver effective safety training and presentations.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct risk assessments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software.
- Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential safety risks.
- Certifications in IOSH and NEBOSH IGC.
