Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer job is available in Karachi (Port Qasim) for a leading multinational manufacturing company. An ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.

Mechanical Engineer job role involves the design, analysis, and enhancement of mechanical systems, components, and manufacturing processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role involves applying engineering principles to optimize production efficiency, ensure product quality, and drive innovation within our manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, equipment, and components used in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and quality assurance, to ensure designs meet production requirements and quality standards.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate and optimize mechanical designs.
• Evaluate materials and select appropriate components to achieve desired performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement in manufacturing operations.
• Participate in the development of testing and validation procedures to ensure product reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, components, and equipment required for manufacturing processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate design concepts and project progress.
