Mechanical Supervisor

Mechanical Supervisor job is available in Karachi (Port Qasim) for a leading multinational manufacturing company. An ideal candidate must be having a Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Associate Engineering or a related field with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in overseeing mechanical maintenance and operations in large-scale companies.

Mechanical Supervisor job role involves involves coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing preventive measures to ensure uninterrupted production and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise mechanical activities, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize mechanical maintenance and repair tasks to minimize downtime and optimize production.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to plan and execute mechanical projects and system upgrades.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
• Perform hands-on mechanical work, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing technical expertise as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards in all maintenance and repair activities.
• Coordinate with procurement to manage inventory of mechanical components and spare parts.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
• Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as necessary to support project implementation or maintenance activities.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with mechanical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical schematics and diagrams.
• Experience with maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
